Title: NCCC membership renewals - heads up
Post by: karlos on May 14, 2012, 08:53:58 AM
All - Since the majority of NC3 members signed-up online last year about this time (May 31 was the legacy renewal date), I extended most of those memberships to be due on May 31. You should receive an automated email 2 weeks prior to expiration. To renew, just follow the link (or click on the NCCC Members page and press the blue Login button), enter the username and password you set last year, select Add/Renew subscription, and simply select the payment method. If anything has changed in your profile - most importantly, email address, please Edit your profile.

This year your renewal will be complete in a couple mouse clicks if you use the credit card / Paypal payment option (you can still select a personal check payment option and you'll get an email telling you where to send your check).

The software is set up to repeat the notification a few more times if you don't renew right away, at one week intervals. If you don't pay by one week after your expiration date, it is assumed you are no longer interested, and notifications will cease.

For people who joined the club after May 31, the same dance will occur for you on the anniversary of the date that you joined the club.

Since this is also the first time that renewals will occur in this automated (hopefully, seamless) way, if you have any problems, please reply to this thread so that they can be resolved.

To avoid cluttering the note above, if your email address HAS changed, then of course you won't receive the automated email notification. You can fix that right now by going to Members > Blue Login button > Edit Profile. If you do that within the next 3 weeks, you will get the renewal notification. If you wait until you've expired, simply login and then select Add/Renew Subscription.

Renewals are piling in, meaning the software auto-notifier must have worked - else, everyone is incredibly diligent. So far, no problems reported, but I'm here to help if anyone has a glitch. Thanks for the prompt renewals - and the donations are appreciated, too!

Over 120 members renewed by May 31. Unfortunately, there are still about 60 who are now in an expired state. Everyone is still in the database, though, so you can login any time to renew (and agree to the NCCC waiver). You'll get one more automated notice and then you're on your own to take care of it. No one will be deleted, but you won't be officially covered by the insurance, etc., so please just login and renew - it's really easy now.
Thanks

There still are a number of expired members now. No more automated messages will help you over the hump, so if you plan on riding with the club, please take a moment to renew (so you can at least come to the July 4th picnic).
