Title: NCCC - Sunday Riders up the Borrego Springs Hills Road
Post by: Margareth Demery on April 07, 2014, 12:38:43 PM
Saw some of the Sunday riders riding full speed up the Borrego Springs Hill yesterday morning.  Looking good!  I rode past you going downhill on my Harley. I wanted to pull over and take a picture of the group, but not much chance to stop on the way down and I was already past the look out point.  Hope you all made is safely back to base as the weather was pretty warm. Congratulations!

One of the riders got a shot of me cruising downhill... :)

Missed you while I was gasping for oxygen and praying for no cramps. On the bicycle, we don't call it a "hill" - but Montezuma Grade, the only other HC (beyond category) climb in SD County besides Palomar. Must have been warm in all that leather, Peg!

All that leather actually keeps me cooler and I unzip all the vents  :). Even have a cool gel vest that adds extra comfort.

Get this... the name of the group.  www.northcountycruisers.com - seriously, true story.
