Many of NCCC riders have taken the Bicycle Traffic Skills course and some of the riding ideas and knowledge of the vehicle code have rubbed off on everyone else. Club rides have some extra things to which we should pay attention because we're often in a large group and sometimes our own worst enemy. For some really great tips on riding as a club, please check this article out (http://floridabicycle.org/for-club-cyclists/) (there are a couple of videos embedded there as well). Florida laws are only slightly different than CA laws, so there's nothing to quibble with, legal-wise (they actually can ride two abreast, but no more, whereas CA has no law addressing riding abreast). Take the tips to heart and we'll all have more fun and be safer, too.
