It was decided at the Sep 21 board meeting to set up a separate area to post items for sale by members. Club policy is that it's OK to post items for sale as long as you offer a discount to club members. To keep the Message Board part of the NCCC Forum focused on member discussion and free from these ads, it was decided to simply set up a separate Board. It will also make it easier to find things for sale, instead of having to sift through all the discussion topics.To have more visibility into activity going on there, click on Home or the Information link top left and select the For Sale by Members (http://northcountycycleclub.com/smf/index.php?board=7.0) Board, and/or bookmark it in your browser. The "Jump to..." link, bottom right, also allows you to hop around the NCCC Forum. You can also easily set a "watch" for any posts on that Board by clicking the Notify button, top right (just as you can do for any of the NCCC Forum Boards).
As Moderator, I have moved some recent posts advertising items for sale to the new For Sale by Members (http://northcountycycleclub.com/smf/index.php?board=7.0) Board. Please use that Board to post things for sale. If someone accidentally posts to the Message Board, I will just go ahead and move it.
