It will also be warm in Fallbrook on Sunday, but I don't want to change a Sunday start location at the last minute. It is supposed to max out at 90 deg on Sunday, but I figure that W Lilac and Cousser backwards will be pleasant at 8:30-9:30, with things heating up on Rice. We'll have our usual shady stop at Rainbow and we can consider the coolest route back through Fallbrook - Live Oak and Green Canyon stay pretty shady.

Brilliant ride choice today, Diana! The cool ride up from Del Mar was perfect.

For Sunday riders, bring ideas for how to make the start at Apple Market cooler. We could, for example, head out to the coast via Van de Grift and do the back road thru Pendleton and do something along the coast for awhile.
