NCCC Member - Stuart Smedley Updates

Have been keeping in touch with Stuart and received updates from him this morning. 

Stuart Smedley had his surgery last Wednesday at Scripps Encinitas, 5.5 hours instead of the expected 3. Location â€" Neck at C4-C5 and C5-C6, and some bone spurs removed that were growing into the spinal column.  The Surgery went very well.  Legs now working properly.  He hopes to be back riding in six months at the most as he is a quick healer. He sends a reminder to people not to play Rugby for too long, not to go over the Handle Bars too often and not to get hit from behind on the Freeway…
