Change in Jim Swarzman Trial

Hi Everyone

There has been a change in Jim's trial:  Late yesterday afternoon the defendant waived his right to a jury trial.  This is great news because it means the case will be heard only by a judge..better chance of conviction than with a jury.

This changes the trial dates.  Since there is no jury selection, the trial starts 9am Monday morning (Vista Courthouse) and should run only 2 days.  I would still appreciate everyone's support but want to make sure people don't come out late in the week.

I hope you get a good Judge.  The judge at the trial when Shawn Harrison was killed basically thought that bicycles didn't belong on the roads.
