Folks - The forecast for Sunday morning is rain, and there's a good chance I'll cancel the fun southern route down to Qualcomm and through Mission Trails. Check back here later as I'll try to feel everyone's pulse at the Saturday ride.

Last night J. Coleman thought the rain would hold off until evening, so I'm in if that holds up.  I had to sleep in to catch up from a week with BIG TIME jet lag so I missed Sat's ride, so I'm ready for tomorrow.
Anthony

Weather.com shows rain possibilities as early as 9am, with definite rain at noon and beyond. After talking to a few people during the Sat ride, noone wanted to ride in the rain, so let's CANCEL it. I am at the symphony this evening, so if someone wants to organize an early 2-3 hr ride for tomorrow, hoping to miss showers, please use this thread to pass the word around.

This is such a fun and scenic ride (particularly once we're past the stadium), I'd like to reschedule for the Denver home game, Nov 27.

I know... it's going to end up perfectly sunny and y'all can yell at me

Frank

Looks like a good day to get reaquainted with the squat rack.

See you all next Sunday.

I will be at Kit Carson at 8:30 just in case others did not see the cancellation post. Since I did not ride today in anticipation of the Sunday ride, I will be doing a BACK BY NOON BEFORE IT RAINS ride. I will be leaving Kit Carson at 8:30 up bear valley to valley center, left on Lilac, down circle R. At the bottom of Circle R at 395 we can decide on the route back depending on time/weather.

So Frank forget the squat rack, the legs are big enough, Anthony get your jet lagged butt in gear, and I'll see you at Kit Carson.

Nice ride, leader Sean - even with the rain.  Hills with cold air, then mechanical - sorry Ursala, then rain, wind, a broken spoke and nice return to Kit Carson.  Considering the forecast for next weekend, get that rain gear dried out and ready to go again!!
