Since roads were wet and there still was a chance of drizzle today, I know many stayed indoors. Weather looks good for the Sunday ride, so consider joining the Sunday Long ride which starts this week at your usual OCRR 8:30! The route is our "classic" figure 8, top loop of which is Fallbrook, https://ridewithgps.com/routes/70039. We do a good job, imo, of keeping the group together so this is by no means a race. For those not wanting to do the full 66 miles and also avoid the tougher climbing bits, you can easily improvise by using the "bottom loop" or even extending that a little bit by climbing up W Lilac from Bonsall to 395, then heading back. The ride always breaks at the market on 395 just north of 76 between mile 24 & 25. Those opting for a shorter variant can do the usual stop at the Bonsall AM/PM (mile 14.5) if you want. The longer ride also may stop at the Bonsall AM/PM (about mile 40) to begin the bottom last half of the figure 8.
