May 13: Julian out & back

Friday the thirteenth. 100 miles or so. Depart Starbucks in the movie theatre complex on Valley and Center City in Escondido for an out & back to Julian. Rolling @ 7 AM sharp. If you don't see a skinny blond on a Soulcraft there, it means you're late and on your own. South on Center City, Felicita, bike path bridge, Pomerado, up Scripps then 67 to Ramona, Old Julian Highway/78 and up the hill. Stop for pie and coffee. Return via Highland Valley. This is not a speed record attempt, but we're not picking daisies either. Get there @ 6:30 ish for coffee. I might even be buying.
