Senior moments

Any seniors out there who would like to do week day rides? 35-40 miles, maybe more, fairly aggressive, including hills but not record setting!

Since I'm a senior - do we need to show a birth cert.? - but not retired, I am definitely interested, but cannot make a regular weekly commitment.  If you get a group going, Mike, I would also be happy to announce it on the Roadies page, similar to what we do for the Tuesday (during DST) night rides.

Karl, thanks for the timely reply, I only specified seniors so that we don't get dropped right out of the shute, the young bucks can have their own group, right....also thanks for the offer to annouce the rides. I like to ride Tues, Thurs, Sat, on a regular basis. I am retired so I am flexible on start and end times. I am looking for riders who love to ride, like hills but who also are social and convivial and like to stop for lunch or coffee. Let's see who else surfaces....thanks again, Mike

There is a Thursday ride out of Magee Park in Carlsbad at 8:30 AM

We are heading south this week toward Cabrillo monument.
Most of us are NCCC members.
We will regroup at Swami's at 9AM.

Paul, is that Thursday morning ride always on? What kind of pace is it? If you leave Magee at 8:30am and you're in Swami's at 9:00am, you're definitely moving along at a good pace.

I'd be up for joining you guys next week if that's still going on.
