A preview of next month's on/off road routes:
Feb. 3: Gravel edition: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/26785825 39 miles, 2460 feet.
Feb. 10: A taste of gravel: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/26786019
Feb. 17: Adventure gravel route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/26778544  38 miles 2098 feet.
Feb. 24: Old Guejito Rd., gravel ride: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/26778596  41 miles, 2450 feet.

These are not hard core MTB routes but some stretches can be steep and some are sandy both uphill and downhill. 28mm wide tires and 34X32 gearing is the minimum recommended although some have survived with less. For the best experience 40mm tires, disc brakes and a 30X34/36 granny gear (24.5/23.2 gear inches).

Hey Paul, I just started back with the club this month and have done a couple of regular road rides. Are you doing these gravel rides? I'm always looking for more trails, fire roads, and bridle paths for my gravel bike. Cheers, Rick

Just found the gravel alternate routes on the cruisers page.
