When we got home after last Saturday's ride, Deb downloaded her ride profile.
Just in case you all wondered....There is a 17% section somewhere near the end of Double Peaks Road. Didn't look like it went under 9% very much.
Lou...

On the way down Double Peaks..  Noticed paved trail called Ridge Trail and road it.    Here's the map of the route from San Elijo (Twin Oaks)

Wow,

After climbing Twin Oaks, 17% is a good excuse to dismount.  I thought it was old age.

Thanks to Greg for encouraging me to the top of Double Peaks, and also for helping me find my way through the rest of the maze.

Another great ride!

Jim

Looks like a nice addition to the ride, and it is all down hill too !

Well....it may all be down hill... (there actually is another big climb if you take it).. but it is a little technical.  the trail is narrow and there is a switchback that curves sharply to a steep descent so make sure your brakes are adjusted well).  Also, you come out inside a locked community gate and need to take a short detour on a dirt trail around it.
