Fellow NCCC Riders
Even though I'm on the outs with the committee and the Oceanside Harbor Police as a scofflaw (Well deserved by the way) I'm taking a chance and sending this post out as an appeal for your support. Here is an update on the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation Ride I'm doing on 14 and 15 November. I'm including the web page link so you can get all the pertinent info without my gross misinterpretation of the facts. http://www.canari-navycycling.com/WEODWF2DayRide.htm  Folks I have already registered for this ride so anything I can raise will go directly to the folks who need your donation most.  Thanks for reading this.
Cheers!

Hey, Dave - I thought I would reply here as others may need the same information. I went to put in a donation to sponsor a rider (you) and clicked the PayPal option. The instructions on the WEODWF site are a bit unclear to me it says.
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Send Money tab.
3. Enter the required information.
...etc.
1. and 2. were easy, but 3. stumped me. What is the "required" information? I've done this in the past for other charities and it was pretty straightforward. Would it be best to just send in a paper check?
Thanks - Karl

Karl,
Thanks for the reply.  No worrys about the PayPal option feature.  I've also heard from other folks who are trying to make the feature work so your not the only one having difficulties.  I'm going to talk to the Webmaster tomorrow at work and I'll have an answer posted here on the message board ASAP.  Thanks for your patience.
Dave

Karl,
Sorry for the delay in getting this info out, but the Webmaster and I have been banging our heads against a wall trying to get the Paypal Feature to work.  No joy in Leadville on that front.  The Credit Card option is working however, and the Snail Mail Check Option is obviously a solid back up plan.  You know this is when the Luddite in me asks; Computers make my life easier how?
Cheers
Dave
