Jan 1-2 Mountain Bike Ride Changes

The scheduled rides for January 1 - 2 are cancelled due to trail closures.

Here's an alternate ride for Sunday

SUNDAY JANUARY 2, 9:30 AM, GRAPEVINE CANYON
Rating: Advanced, 26 miles, possible sandy conditions
Trailhead: Tamarisk Grove Campground (on S 3 near intersection of Hwy. 78 in the Anza Borrego Desert) park along S3 (alongside Tamarisk Grove Campground).
We ride up Grapevine Canyon and Jasper Trail, turning around at the high point of Jasper Trail to follow the same route back to the campground. The out and back ride allows riders to turn back if the long steep climb up Jasper Trail gets too hard. Dress for changing temperatures; the desert may be warm but it can get cold at the top. Bring food and extra water.
