When and how are elections for club officers held?

Hello Freds,
Elections will be happening at the end of this month. The new officers will take over during the first quarterly meeting in March. Typically, the only votes we get are from those individuals that attend the meeting. Not sure why this is other than as I have always said, most people in this club just want to ride their bike and enjoy their friends.
This time we will try something different. There are two candidates running for president. I have asked for their resume/platform. I will post to all of the current NCCC members via an email blast. Near the end of the month, I will send out ballots again via email blast and request that you vote and return to me. I am not running this year and really have no interest in the elections. By that I mean personal interest. I am retiring (from this position)and just riding my bike from now on. I will tally the votes and announce via email blast to all members.
If you have any more questions, you can contact me directly. There are people on this website that are not current NCCC members and I don't think that this interests them.
