Soldier ride fundraiser for the Wounded Warriors program

Interesting: no laps around the island this year...

Anyone making a team for this?

Please look over the list and reply to me (ahemmen@woundedwarriorproject.org) by Thursday, March 17th which job you would like to have day of the ride.  Once I have your reply and you have signed up for a task, I will send you additional information.  Thank you!

Option #1:  Saturday, March 26th Soldier Ride San Diego
 
*2-3 person team to set up left/right turn signs along 15, 25, and 50 mile course (arrive very early ? time TBD)
 
*3-5 volunteers for Packet Pick up (arrive 6:30 am ? finish by 9:30 am)
 
*3-5 volunteers for Registration (arrive 6:30 am ? finish by 9:30 am)
 
*5-7 Ride Marshalls (arrive 7:30/8 am)
 
*5 SAG (arrive 7:30/8 am)
 
*2-3 volunteers for Rest Stop #1 ? Camp Pendleton Commissary (arrive at 7:30 am to pick up rest stop supplies, set up rest stop, clean up rest stop, return supplies to start/finish line ? should be finished by 12 pm/1 pm)?(preferably volunteers with clearance to enter Camp Pendleton)
 
*2-3 volunteers for Rest Stop #2 ? Pulgas Gate (arrive at 7:30 am to pick up rest stop supplies, set up rest stop, clean up rest stop, return supplies to start/finish line ? should be finished by 12pm/1pm)
(preferably volunteers with clearance to enter Camp Pendleton)
 
*5-6 Serve lunch at Start/Finish Line (arrive at 10 am, finish by 2 pm)
 
*10+ volunteers to pass out American Flags along the course in Oceanside to announce to shoppers/beach goers/anyone in the streets that Soldier Ride is coming through down so the shoppers/beach goers can cheer on the warriors as they come through down, and so they know the event is going on (arrive at 8:00 am, finished by 9:30 am)
 
 
Option #2: Friday, March 25th Soldier Ride San Diego ? Honor Ride
We also have a smaller cycling event the Friday, before ? Friday, March 25th ? called the Honor Ride.  If none of the times work for you on Saturday, we are in need of volunteer support on Friday. 
 
*2-3 volunteers for Rest Stop #1 ? Pepper Park (arrive at 8:00 am to pick up rest stop supplies, set up rest stop, clean up rest stop, return supplies ? should be finished by 10 am)
 
*2-3 volunteers for Rest Stop #2 ? Coronado Ferry Landing (arrive at 8:30 am to pick up rest stop supplies, set up rest stop, clean up rest stop, return supplies ? should be finished by 12 pm)
 
*3-4 volunteers to serve lunch at start/finish line (arrive at 11:30 am, finish by 2 pm)
 
*5+ volunteers to pass out American Flags along the course in Coronado to announce to shoppers/beach goers/anyone in the streets that Soldier Ride is coming through down so the shoppers/beach goers can cheer on the warriors as they come through down, and so they know the event is going on (arrive at 9:15 am, finished by 12:00 pm)
