With this new year of riding I would like everyone to help with  new  routes!
So put together your Favorite ride with street names and route slips  Pick the day you want to lead
Email me with the date  Simple
I expect EVERYONE to come up with one ride.
Everyone likes to ride so it is about time you took the time and effort in putting a ride together for all us to enjoy. ;D

Still waiting for Bill's pie ride!

Also, Karl was talking about some dirt road somewhere behind Ramona or something like that.  I can't remember where.  But we should definitely do that one too.

Well, we did Black Canyon on a Sunday ride about 3 or 4 yrs ago when Jim and Lee Schwarz were Sunday regulars, and although it could be described as "epic," the majority would not want to do it again on super light bikes with super skinny tires. So I'll pass on leading this ride, but anyone else is welcome to plan it and lead it. That's what Diana is looking for. However, whoever plans and leads this ride does run the risk of some grumpy riders. Burt says it was recently graded, so if you gotta have it, Nerius, definitely drive out to Mesa Grande to personally test the descent, imagining you're Diana.

I was thinking of doing it as an ascent rather than a descent, as in http://ridewithgps.com/routes/851094 and would be happy to lead the ride on a Sunday in the new year.

Another thought is incorporating Viejas Grade (going up of course) into a ride somewhere.  It's a nice graded gravel road, the Christmas Trip passes over it every year.

How about a ride to and up Palomar in the Spring before it gets hot?  A standard Up South Grade, down East Grade .... about 96 miles.  http://ridewithgps.com/routes/863259

Question, for a possible new Sat. ride.
Are you allowed to enter Camp Pendleton from Fallbrook?  I think Pete used to commute that way.
