Monday December 26th is a holiday for many of us, any long riders thinking of riding? If so, maybe we can coordinate a group ride. It could be a good opportunity to test out all the cool bike gear santa brought for you.

Sean,
I am definitely planning on riding Monday.  If we can get even a small group together, that would be great. And any route is good with me.  Need to burn off all those calories from good German cooking.

I might decide to ride Monday. Let me know the route.

I think I can get a pass to ride that day as well.

I'll look into a pass for me as well.

BTW - anyone else have Friday off and can't make either weekend ride?  Maybe a Friday and Monday ride?  Route?  Well for those who know me, know I can't find the Starbucks on the corner so let's see if anyone is interested and take it from there.

I am interested in the Monday ride.  Any route will be fine with me.

I'm in for both/either/or Friday the 23rd and/or Monday the 26th!

I was thinking of riding to 7-11 for beer on Monday.  I guess I could go on Friday too.

Well then, how about meeting at OCRR at 8:30 on Monday? Someone suggest  a route - or we can improv - anything but Pie II.

Ok, so folks who are interested in a ride on FRIDAY, what do you think about starting at OCRR and then head to the coast and up through Pendleton and the camp grounds?  Start at 8:30 or maybe even 9AM?  Bill/Frank - thoughts?  would you rather start at Magee park?  The wind looks like it might still be up so staying near the coast should be better???  I'm still a newbie, what do I know.

Anthony Sc

For Friday, how about an 8:30 start, to the coast, north to the San Luis Rey bike path, then inland to Sleeping Indian/Bonsall, W. Lilac, Circle R, and then 395 to Twin Oaks?  Or we can always just see where the wind blows us . . .

Frank

If you guys are starting at OCRR and riding to Oceanside, I'll join you when you ride by my house.  When you enter Oceanside and turn left at Angelo's, it's the first house on the left.  It's 13.7 miles from OCRR so you should pass here about 9:15.

Okay Bill you called my bluff - "wind" was code for my legs still hurt and my feet are still cold from Pie ride, so I was planning something more flat.....AND I if I was going to "lead/organize" I needed minimal turns so I don't get lost.  ......but I'm up for anything (famous last words) so is this the route?

I'm not sure I got the "usual" cut throughs correct.  I'll also need to check on my "pass" for Friday since it this would be a longer day than I might have communicated.  ;D

Anthony

I think that traffic is going to be heavy on Friday (& Saturday for that matter) any route that keeps us out of the line of fire would be ideal.

For Monday - route design challenge: no stop signs, no traffic lights, no left-hand turns. Prize at least goes to the minimum sum total of all three. Anyway, I like Anthony's route, a reasonable shot at this goal.
