Call me thin blooded if you like.  I need a long sleeve Jersey and vest to get me through those 50 degree morning rides.    It would be good to get a new NCCC kit.

Hello Sandy and all other NCCC members.
Yes, there is a new team kit in the works. A design has been provided by Michael Santoro. As always with Michael's designs, it looks great. No sponsor logos other than the supplier PACTIMO. A pretty small logo on the upper left shoulder I think. I do have a pdf of the kit, but not here at work. For continuity purposes we are staying with the blue, yellow, silver and white color this year.
We are presently in the final contract negotiation phase with PACTIMO. Just ironing out a few details before we sign on the dotted line and open the online store. We have decided to go with the more expensive shorts because of their pad quality (men's and women's). Me, well I use a Brooks saddle. So pads do not matter a whole lot to me. We are using the second level jersey material because we heard that the material for the expensive one is so thin that people were using sun block to protect themselves from the sun.
Vest? Yes. Long sleeve jersey? Not sure. Bib shorts. Regular shorts. Arm warmers. They do not produce socks, so we will have to source another sock supplier. Also, NCCC has funds available from last years' sponsor drive that will be applied toward this years' purchase. Our price should be very reasonable for the quality of product you will be buying. We also are getting a price break because of the quantity of items we are projecting to purchase.
One more thing to know is that PACTIMO will be providing a "fit kit" that we can use for a few weeks. We will bring it to the rides on Saturday as well as have an "open house" on a Saturday after a ride where you can stop by and see what fits for you before you order.
Stay tuned. We'll probably have something up before the end of the week.

Sandy, you need to be harder than woodpecker lips like Kelly J. Weather won't bother you then. I have seen him ride with short sleeves in the Tour of Borrego Springs in January. While the rest of us were shivering by the fire and drinking hot coffee hoping for a taxi to get back.
