Some of our riders do this wed ride. No ride on thurs so this is good makeup. Thanks

Steve,

There IS a ride on Thursday. Check the web site. The Wednesday ride from Bonsall has been going on for a long time (12 years?). I have been doing it for about 8. The official start is at the church in Bonsall on Camino del Rey, a few 100 yards in from Route 76, right where Old River Road branches to the right. People who drive to the start, park at Daniel's Market at the junction of Route 76 and Mission Road and bike to the church or wait for the group to come by if the ride is going up Mission. The ride ALWAYS starts at 9:00 AM (except the special ride on New Year's Day). This week's ride is going by the church. This goes for you and anyone else who may be interested in a fairly challenging ride on Wednesday; Send me an e-mail if you have any questions and I will forward you this weeks ride description or just show up. The Wednesday ride does not have a web site. My e-mail is burt4754@yahoo.com

Actually, Thursday ride is not posted anywhere on the website as it is a non-official NCCC ride - it may have "been" official when Joe Haring first started it. Kelly is one of the regulars, Jim Wisener and Jeff Levin also. I do believe they meet at Magee Park at 8:30, but I defer to the regular Thursday riders here. THIS Thursday is the Thanksgiving Day Ride (Bandy Canyon for long).

BTW, there was no cancellation of today's Sunday ride. We had a quorum of 6 and had a fine ride up Mt Soledad the traditional way with a new descent down La Jolla Mesa (to heck with bouncing down Via Capri!), back along the coast (Wind and Sea) and up (instead of down) La Jolla Shores. No rain to speak of and a tail wind all the way home  8)
