For those of you planning ahead, here's my route for the 21st:
http://ridewithgps.com/routes/981900
We'll start rolling out past CSUSM to Woodland Parkway, then through the Country Club to 395 via Nutmeg. The 395 part isn't the greatest, but has bike lanes all the way through Rainbow and is going downhill where it isn't uphill, with a regroup at Hwy. 76. First break at Hazit Market in Temecula. The Pala-Temecula road is a blast of a descent - one of the best in the area, after you get through the traffic leaving Temecula. Regroup in Pala. Lilac road is a tough climb, with some dirt (and a couple of rez dogs to contend with) at the bottom and some 10% ramps toward the top, but with hardly any traffic. From there, roll through Valley Center with some more traffic to the second break at Harvest Farms. Then it's all downhill on the bike-laned Valley Center Grade, back through Escondido and the Country Club to Mission.

Let's buddy up this time!

Dang, looks like fun.  I'm missing that Sat ride for college visits with my tall son with long hair.  Hope to see you this Sat though.

Anthony - will miss you on Saturday - get to be a birthday party chaperone. Have fun on the college tour, though!

Anthony, you will be missed.  Luckily for your son he seems to have inherited his hair gene from his mother. (I know, glass houses and all that!)

We'll see you this week though - right?

Hi Wade,
I'll be out there Saturday, even if wet and windy in the morning!  As far as the hair gene.....we'll see, I had a nice frizzy fro in HS......too bad by 29 (probably earlier) I was wearing hats A LOT!

As listed on the 4/14 thread, I will not be able to lead this ride on the 21st. Sean Brennan will fill in his ride originally scheduled to the 14th in its place. Look for a re-schedule of my ride next month.
