Pendelton closed Sept 24-28 and Oct 1-5

So I wait in line with my drivers licence, passport, SS card, immigration documents,....well you get the idea....and in a brief 15 minutes or less, I have my brand new annual pass which lets me cycle through Camp Pendelton.
But THEN, on the way out, I notice this sign: "Old PCH closure from San Onofre State Park to Las Pulgas gate entrance will take place in support of military operations 24-28 Sep 2018 and 1-5 Oct 2081".

So you have been warned. Nice to ride at other times but unless you like being part of military ops, best avoided on these dates.
