Sunday Long Ride on - possible light showers

So far the San Marcos weather forecast at https://www.wunderground.com/hourly/us/ca/san-marcos/date/2020-03-01 shows light showers starting around 10am. It could be a little heavier at the end of the ride ~2pm. I will definitely be out there, rain or shine. May ride with fenders as a precaution. Also if we get out to the top of Witches and rain looks bad, there are several options to shorten as this is a long ride out to Scripps Ranch with Pomerado return. If things change and it looks rainy at the start or too few decide to show, a bite to eat and coffee is always a possibility at OCRR Coffee House or IHOP

Update before bed. Looks like no showers until 1pm now

Forecast looks even better now. If you can trust it, no rain in San Marcos until 3pm. Be prepared anyway. We're ON.

Awesome dry day after all. Only Carolyn Beck and Tony Jones were undeterred by the (flaky) forecasts for light showers today. Tony noted that the Brits outnumbered the Yanks today.
